Account

Sign in with Apple gives us a user identifier and, only if you allow it, your name and email. We use that to attach trades and messages to you. We do not sell personal information and we do not track you across other companies’ apps.

Your collection

Titles, notes, prices, and photos are stored on this device. If you turn on iCloud sync, they are stored in your private iCloud database. Public trades, event posts, catalog submissions, and reports are stored in the shared CloudKit database and can be seen by other people using the app.

Title lookup

After you agree, a photo of a case can be sent to OpenRouter and the model provider serving that request, so the app can suggest a title. A barcode number can be sent to a product lookup service and, if needed, to OpenRouter. Those requests do not include your Apple ID, name, or email. If you decline, you can still add titles by hand.

Face ID

App Lock uses the device Face ID or passcode. The biometric result stays on the device.

Subscriptions

Apple processes Plus purchases. We learn whether this Apple ID has an active subscription. We do not receive your full payment card number.

Your choices

Export a backup from Settings. Delete one of your own trades from the trade. Delete the account, the local collection, and the iCloud copy we can reach from Settings → Delete account and collection. You can also revoke Sign in with Apple in the iOS Settings app.

Children

Snap Media is not directed at children under 13.
